English summer will always remain my favourite time of the year.
Not least because it’s when my little boy was born.
His birthday always comes in a time of rainbows and sunshine........................
with the flowers blooming......................
bees humming........................
dragonflies buzzing........................
and butterflies fluttering...........................
and ladybugs scuttling—
-- while my baby has picnic with his teddy on the grass or splashes in the pool.
I wanted to catch all that in this summer garden cake made for his 2nd birthday.
